The Fans Who Changed Everything

The Bundy family in a classic scene beloved by fans worldwide

Our fans were loud, loyal, unapologetic, and real. They didn’t watch us because we were wholesome or polished. They watched because we said the things nobody else said.

Fans wrote letters, sent gifts, showed up to tapings, and created a cult following before cult followings were a thing. Some fans knew every line. Some came dressed as characters. Some traveled across states just to watch one taping.

Their energy kept us going. Their laughter fed our performances. Their passion gave the show life long after cancellation.

The Bundys lived because the fans made sure we never died.

Thanks for the compliments. Back in October of 1996, I traveled from Colorado to L.A. to see the dress rehearsal & taping of “The Juggs Have Left the Building” (Season 11, episode 7). It was incredible fun.
