Marcy and Jefferson come to the rescue! The Bundys are in a jam far from home, and of all people, it is the D'Arcys who show up to help.

This clip comes from Married with Children Season 5 Episode 23, "Route 666: Part 1." On the way to Los Angeles for a shoe convention, the Bundys' car breaks down in the small town of Lucifer, New Mexico. There they meet an old prospector who gives them a map to a gold mine in exchange for their car.

Bundy family outings are legendary for all the wrong reasons. Change the scenery and the chaos simply comes along for the ride.

This is the show doing what it did best: taking an everyday situation and pushing it until it becomes completely absurd. It is a perfect example of the show's fearless sense of humor, and it holds up just as well today.
