This clip comes from Married with Children Season 6 Episode 7, "If I Could See Me Now." After one near miss after another, Bud and Kelly push Al to get glasses, even though he swears his eyes are fine.

Moments like this are why Married with Children is still quoted today. The writing is sharp, the timing is perfect and the Bundys never try to be anything other than themselves.

This is the show doing what it did best: taking an everyday situation and pushing it until it becomes completely absurd. It is a perfect example of the show's fearless sense of humor, and it holds up just as well today.
