Zoom ideas?
June 13, 2026
This club has been an absolute dream come true. I truly cannot express how much I enjoy this community and all the great content. The rewatches and Zooms have been an absolute blast and have been everything I wanted so far. Getting Ed O’Neill on the couch was incredible, and I know I was a nervous wreck, but what a wonderful opportunity. Hopefully he comes back soon as there are a ton of great fans here that would love to hop on the couch too with him!
I’ve seen a few posts about possibly updating the way the Zooms work, to ensure all fans get a chance to jump on the Zoom, and I love that. I just wanted to throw some ideas out into the universe. If any of them are feasible, please consider them!
Save a Seat for a New Member
* Guarantee one spot for a random new member who has signed up since the last Zoom.
* It helps newer fans feel included immediately.
Use a Rolling Lottery Queue
* If someone gets picked, they move to the back of the line.
* If they don’t, they stay in the mix for next time.
* That way, for people like me with terrible luck, I know I will eventually get picked and it’s not a strict lottery I will never win.
Reward the Regulars
* Save two or three spots for the most active members (based on points) since the last Zoom.
* This rewards people who help keep the club alive between events.
Ask Before the Show
* Let members submit questions ahead of time.
* The moderator can choose the best ones and avoid repeats.
Keep the Couch Moving
* With only one fan on the couch at a time, every minute counts.
* A loose 3-4 minute limit gives each person a real moment while still making room for others.
Add a Lightning Round
* End with fast, fun questions from all members, handled by the moderator. Utilize the written feature of the Zoom meetings with a section for yes/no or one words answer questions.
* It gives extra everyone a chance to be involved, no matter their member level.
Let the Moderator Pick 1 or 2 Wildcards
* Leave one or two spots open for something completely random. Sometimes those are the best parts!
End With Fan Hangout Time
* After the guest leaves, let members stick around and talk.
* Helps the club feel like a real community.

All excellent suggestions!
These really ARE excellent suggestions brother. Very well thought out. I will direct Darren and Brian to this post to review your ideas, and I’m sure we will implement many of them. As you already know, this is a brand new venture and we are learning on the fly and we are very open to member suggestions, So again, thank you for these well thought out ideas. See ya soon, and WHOA!
We are on it. Gonna take all suggestions plus some of our internal notes and level up.
Great ideas. Can I be greedy and call dibs on Ed if he comes back again!?!?! Ha ha. Just messing around but it’s pretty cool so far and there’s so many different episodes and holidays and ideas to do. I would absolutely love to talk to Christina all though I know that’s hard but her book I cannot praise enough. I plan on putting a review of it on here. Her audiobook will bring you to tears multiple times
yes brother, you got dibs on Ed’s return visit!
You’re the man! Whoa Jablonski!
Wow, so many great suggestions here.
Honestly, I think it’s amazing to see how much all of this has grown already, and I’m sure it will continue to evolve and find its rhythm over time.
I can only imagine what a technical and organizational challenge it is to run these Zooms and make them work for so many people.
Personally, I like the idea of one question per member during a Zoom, so more people get a chance to speak.
I also think a number of pre-submitted questions could be a good addition, especially for members who can’t always make it live.
But I’d definitely keep some room for spontaneous questions too, because those often lead to the most memorable moments.
A mix of both might be the best solution. I’m sure we’ll figure it out together.
I loved what you wrote and read to Ed. Very cool moment
Kristin I mean. Cool poem
Thank you 🫶🏻
I agree with what Tim said, Christin. It was from the heart, and I sensed that Ed felt that. To be honest, I may have shed a tear. Well done, friend!
Thank you. You guys really are the best.
Easy with the compliments, Christin. Say something that nice around my family and Al will have you booked to cater the next Zoom, then bill you for the privilege. We Bundys hear kindness and immediately start looking for the angle.
Haha 😂 …too late. I’m German. We tend to say what we mean.
Great ideas! Fully support getting as many folks on the couch. I for one will take a seat back and wait for others to ask their questions since I’ve been lucky enough to appear.
Glad the response to the suggestions has been positive! I’m sure David, Darren, and Brian have tons of awesome things in store, beyond what they have already accomplished. They really have created the best MWC space ever available to fans.
Zoom ideas? Easy, point the camera at my dad’s shoe store for an hour and watch absolutely nothing happen. Riveting television. Seriously though, you put more thought into this club than my family ever put into raising me, and it shows. Keep the ideas coming.
Nothing happen in the shoe store? Man… Al lined up the shoes like he was playing trains, Al & Griff started to measure “themselves” with a foot measuring device, the No Ma’am counterprotest to nursing women, and most importantly Bud’s “Girls of Tremaine” calendar shoot! HOLY MOLY!
These are great suggestions William! Very well thought out! I usually have something to add in this forum, but not to this post. Well done, Reunion & AfterParty buddy
