Al Aidekman
Al and Jefferson lose their fishing lodge reservation to Shannon Tweed, who insults Jefferson on the way past. His revenge is a photograph, and the tabloid auction that follows is held in the Bundy living room. Bud and Kelly try to get Lucky into a dog food commercial.
Kelly needs to learn archery for an audition, and Bud agrees to coach her because Amber finds supportive brothers appealing. Al, meanwhile, has bought an owl costume and is sitting in the backyard tree to scare off a bird. The two plots meet.
The Bundy television dies, so Al tries out for a sports trivia show with a ten thousand dollar prize and is rejected for having no personality. He enters Kelly instead and coaches her himself. The catch is that every new fact pushes an old one out.
The city plans to pave over the Polk High football field for a car plant, so Al handcuffs himself to a goal post. The Darcys stand to make money from the deal. Meanwhile Bud and Buck get sprayed with an experimental pesticide while filming a commercial.
Al wins a first class trip to Hawaii in a shoe-selling contest, and Peg immediately trades it for four standby seats. Stuck in the terminal, Al talks his way into the first class lounge by claiming to be a rock star, where he meets six real ones. None of them can remember his fake name.
Kelly has graduated and is doing nothing, so Al tries to get her working, and she lands on modelling. Her rival is played by Tia Carrere and the casting agent by Tina Louise from Gilligan’s Island, which matters because Al spent years telling anyone who would listen that Ginger was the one.
The Bundys take in a French exchange student for one reason only, which is the five hundred dollars a month that comes with her. Yvette settles in quickly and then starts outshining Kelly at school, which nobody in the house had budgeted for. Played by a thirteen-year-old Milla Jovovich, years before anyone knew the name.
