Al meets the Grim Reaper, and she looks just like Peggy. It is a darkly funny Halloween episode that turns Al's lifelong death wish into a face to face meeting.

This clip comes from Married with Children Season 8 Episode 7, "Take My Wife, Please." It is Halloween, and death arrives for Al looking exactly like Peggy. She will not leave unless someone in the family says they need him.

Al and Peg's marriage runs on insults, schemes and the occasional truce, and that push and pull is the heartbeat of the show. Scenes like this remind you why they are TV's most gloriously mismatched couple.

Scenes like this are what made the Bundys one of television's most memorable families. Moments like this are why Married with Children is still quoted today. The writing is sharp, the timing is perfect and the Bundys never try to be anything other than themselves.
