This clip comes from Married with Children Season 5 Episode 22, "Route 666 Part 1." The family's road trip to an LA shoe convention ends early in Lucifer, New Mexico, where an old prospector trades them a gold mine map for their car.

Taking the Bundys out of the house never improves anything. It just gives them new places to argue, and this outing is a perfect example.

It is a perfect example of the show's fearless sense of humor, and it holds up just as well today. Scenes like this are what made the Bundys one of television's most memorable families.
