What happens when Darth Vader plays poker with the Loch Ness Monster? You get a scene like this one, where Al is hurt and absolutely nobody in his family takes it seriously.

This clip comes from Married with Children Season 5 Episode 7, "Married... With Aliens." After Al comes home from work with a bump on the head, he believes he sees six little green aliens landing on Earth and stealing his smelly socks to fuel their spaceships.

Scenes like this are what made the Bundys one of television's most memorable families.

Moments like this are why Married with Children is still quoted today. The writing is sharp, the timing is perfect and the Bundys never try to be anything other than themselves. This is the show doing what it did best: taking an everyday situation and pushing it until it becomes completely absurd.
