Kelly Saves Al's Touchdown Record | Married with Children
Will the Bundy record stay safe for another year? This clip is all about protecting the family legacy, and Kelly is the one who steps up to save her dad's touchdown record. Al's glory days at Polk High are sacred, and Kelly knows it.
This clip comes from Married with Children Season 3 Episode 4, "Poke High." In the episode, a young football player from Polk High, the school Kelly and Bud attend, is closing in on two Bundy records. One is Al's mark for the most touchdowns in one season. The other belongs to Kelly, for refusing the kid's advances.
Polk High looms large over the Bundy family. It is where Al peaked, and any story that pulls those glory days back into the present is a treat.
It is a perfect example of the show's fearless sense of humor, and it holds up just as well today.
