Bud's study session is cut short when Amber, Marcy's visiting niece, makes her entrance through his bedroom window. For a guy who usually strikes out, it is a moment so unbelievable that even Bud cannot be sure it is happening.

This clip comes from Married with Children Season 9 Episode 4, "Naughty But Niece." Bud is studying hard for a scholarship exam, and he keeps nodding off and fantasizing about beautiful women. So is his passionate encounter with Marcy's 19 year old niece Amber a dream or reality?

Bud always thinks this is finally his moment, and that eternal optimism is what makes his romantic adventures so much fun to watch.

This is the show doing what it did best: taking an everyday situation and pushing it until it becomes completely absurd. It is a perfect example of the show's fearless sense of humor, and it holds up just as well today.
