Al plans a family bonding day at the beach, until an old girlfriend shows up and ruins everything. The past has a way of finding Al Bundy at the worst possible time.

This clip comes from Married with Children Season 3 Episode 21, "Life's a Beach." The family heads to a Lake Michigan beach for a day of togetherness that Al has been planning, and of course it unravels.

Taking the Bundys out of the house never improves anything. It just gives them new places to argue, and this outing is a perfect example.

This is the show doing what it did best: taking an everyday situation and pushing it until it becomes completely absurd. It is a perfect example of the show's fearless sense of humor, and it holds up just as well today.
