It is supposed to be Kelly's birthday movie night, starring Christina Applegate as Kelly, but Al, played by Ed O'Neill, wanders into the wrong theater. The twist? He likes what is playing way too much to leave.

This clip comes from Married with Children Season 7 Episode 21, "Movie Show." Al tries to get everyone out of doing anything for Kelly's birthday, but the plan backfires when she breaks off a date with her boyfriend to go to the movies with the family.

Birthdays in the Bundy house are never about cake and candles. They are about scheming, dodging and surviving, and this one is no exception.

This is the show doing what it did best: taking an everyday situation and pushing it until it becomes completely absurd. It is a perfect example of the show's fearless sense of humor, and it holds up just as well today.
