Al Bundy's version of paradise is simple: an empty house, a bag of chips and Psycho Dad on the TV. In this clip he finally gets it, or at least he thinks he does. For a few glorious moments, Al is a man at total peace, and fans know exactly how rare that is.

This clip comes from Married with Children Season 5 Episode 2, "Al...With Kelly." Al and Kelly fake being sick to get out of visiting Peggy's mom. Al looks forward to a quiet, peaceful weekend, until Kelly actually gets sick.

Moments like this are why Married with Children is still quoted today. The writing is sharp, the timing is perfect and the Bundys never try to be anything other than themselves.

This is the show doing what it did best: taking an everyday situation and pushing it until it becomes completely absurd.
