Let’s Pick One! 🎬

Hi everyone!
I’ve had a little thought on my mind lately.
One of the things I’ve always loved most about this club is the interaction between all of us. Not just during the Zooms, but also here in between the events. Reading what others have noticed, which scenes they enjoyed the most, the little details they happened to catch, and seeing all the wonderful Bundy treasures everyone shares.
I always enjoy seeing everyone’s posts, and I hope those continue just as they always have.
A while back, Peggy Jablonsky (@stephaniekruse2009) suggested watching the episodes written by Richard Gurman for anyone who was interested. I really liked that idea, and it reminded me how much fun it could be to pick an episode together every now and then—whether it’s a Gurman episode or any other favorite—and come back here afterward to chat about it together.
Nothing complicated at all. Maybe, when people feel like it, someone could simply make a quick post saying, “This weekend we’re watching Episode XY.” Anyone who’s interested and has the time can watch it over the weekend, and afterward we can all meet in the comments to share our thoughts.
I just thought it might be a fun little tradition that gives us one more reason to come together between the Zooms.
It doesn’t have to be a deep analysis. Maybe it’s your favorite scene, a quote that stuck with you, a little detail you never noticed before, or simply the question: Why do I love this episode so much?
Of course, everyone has their own lives, and not everyone will be able to join every time. But I think it would be wonderful if we kept using this space between the Zooms to celebrate our favorite show together and share our thoughts, memories, and little discoveries.
If it’s something people would enjoy, great. If not, that’s perfectly fine too. It was just a little idea I wanted to share.

I would love to do this! Start at Episode one and go through the entire run? Reminds me of when I was younger and I would just rewatch episodes with my mom.
When do we start? How do we get more people on board? Advertise through our Profile updates?
Yeah, like watching together without actually being together. Everyone watches whenever they have the time, and afterward we can all share our thoughts. I really like that idea.

I’ll go ahead and make a separate post for Episodes 1–4, so it’ll be a little easier for everyone to find and jump into the discussion.
And I absolutely love the suggestion to use the What’s New feature to let people know about each discussion. I think that’s a great idea! I’ll copy this little invitation there:
