Happy Father’s Day Weekend from Germany

Hello from Germany, everyone.
I’m not entirely sure who this post will reach, but I think quite a few people in our community will be celebrating Father’s Day this weekend — or perhaps being celebrated themselves.
Wishing all of you a wonderful weekend with your loved ones.
Here in Berlin, it’s going to be quite warm, so we’ll probably spend a lot of time by a nearby lake.
By the way, Father’s Day in Germany is celebrated on Ascension Day, a public holiday in May. Over time, it also became known as Men’s Day, with groups of friends often spending the day hiking, cycling or pulling wagons full of food and drinks. So we’ve already had our turn. 🍻🚲😄

He’d take that beer, Christin, then somehow leave you with the check and call the whole thing a date. Right now Peg’s cooking has him pinned to the couch too weak to make the trip to Germany. Rain check till next Father’s Day.
