A radio contest has wives make their husbands do embarrassing things, and Peg phones Al at work repeatedly. Behind him, his assistant is being resuscitated by paramedics. Bud and Kelly keep losing their place in a ticket queue.
Season 8 Episode 20: The D’Arcy Files
Jefferson confesses that his name is not Jefferson D’Arcy and that he used to work for the CIA, which means there is one man alive who can expose him. Al learns there is a fifty thousand dollar reward. Bud and Kelly want start-up capital.
Season 8 Episode 19: Field of Screams
The city plans to pave over the Polk High football field for a car plant, so Al handcuffs himself to a goal post. The Darcys stand to make money from the deal. Meanwhile Bud and Buck get sprayed with an experimental pesticide while filming a commercial.
Season 8 Episode 18: Get Outta Dodge
Peg makes Al advertise the Dodge for sale, which brings a parade of unsuitable buyers to the door. Then the Dodge Corporation offers him a brand new Viper for the right to film the old car crossing one million miles. Al has to drive the last of it on camera.
Season 8 Episode 17: Valentine’s Day Massacre
Kelly admits she never gave Bud a Valentine’s card from six years ago, sent by a girl who is now a famous singer. Bud goes to her hotel to explain. Al, meanwhile, discovers what a dozen roses costs on February 14th.
Season 8 Episode 16: How Green Was My Apple
An apple tree near the property line sets off a dispute that escalates into a full boundary survey and then into a quarrel over everything around both houses. The surveyor’s findings about the Bundy land are not flattering.
Season 8 Episode 15: Honey, I Blew Up Myself
Peg’s birthday present to Al is a boudoir photo of herself, which then gets enlarged into a billboard next to the shoe store. Al finds he does not enjoy other men looking at it. Bud and Kelly keep buying him things he already owns and hates.
Season 8 Episode 14: Sofa So Good
Kelly’s boyfriend burns down Peg’s couch while the parents are away, and only two were ever made. Finding the other one means a trip into the woods to deal with the man who built it. The parents come home a week early.
Season 8 Episode 13: The Worst Noel
Christmas Eve at the Bundys, in real time and entirely on the property. Kelly and Bud spend the episode trying to smuggle a jukebox into the house. Al and Peg spend it fighting over the remote, with Al refusing to watch It’s a Wonderful Life.
