Al is stuck with Death, and Death is not leaving. It is a Halloween episode with a wicked premise and a perfect Bundy twist.

This clip comes from Married with Children Season 8 Episode 7, "Take My Wife, Please." Al meets the Grim Reaper and she is a dead ringer for Peg. Elsewhere, Peg, Bud, Kelly and Jefferson put together a Village People act.

The Al and Peg dynamic is a big reason the show still lands decades later. Their sniping is sharp, but underneath it there is a strange kind of loyalty that keeps fans coming back.

It is a perfect example of the show's fearless sense of humor, and it holds up just as well today. Scenes like this are what made the Bundys one of television's most memorable families. Moments like this are why Married with Children is still quoted today. The writing is sharp, the timing is perfect and the Bundys never try to be anything other than themselves.
