Al Bundy finds himself in a painfully awkward situation after a medical mishap. It is one of the most cringe inducing setups the show ever tried, and it works.

This clip comes from Married with Children Season 8 Episode 12, "A Little Off The Top." A pickup football game sends Al to the hospital for surgery, and a mix up there leaves him circumcised.

Scenes like this are what made the Bundys one of television's most memorable families.

Moments like this are why Married with Children is still quoted today. The writing is sharp, the timing is perfect and the Bundys never try to be anything other than themselves. This is the show doing what it did best: taking an everyday situation and pushing it until it becomes completely absurd. It is a perfect example of the show's fearless sense of humor, and it holds up just as well today.
