Future Bundy Club Zoom Guests
Darren & David posed us all with a challenge – They need some suggestions for future guests on our Zoom meetings. There are a few obvious choices (Katey Sagal, Christina Applegate, David Garrison, Ted McGinley), but this show had SO MANY guest stars, as well as recurring guest stars that…
Fright Night Poster
My daughter is graduating on Saturday and I remember she was in her mom’s stomach when I first met Amanda Bearse at a con about 18 years ago. It was a Fright Night reunion and look what I had her write and sign on the poster, “why does he keep…
Birthday Chaos
Okay, this is getting weird. 😄 I was rewatching Season 11, Episode 14 (“Breaking Up Is Easy to Do – Part 1”) and noticed something I had completely forgotten. During the board game scene, Al is asked Peggy’s birthday. His answer? March 12. (My birthday.) Peg immediately corrects him: “April…
The real …Greatest American Hero
What a great episode!!😎
Without you guys, I’m not going anywhere
As a teenager, I used to take my Married… with Children quote book with me whenever I traveled or stayed overnight at a friend’s house. I even remember a youth trip I took with a group of friends. The book came with me on that trip too. To people who…
Zoom with Ed O’Neill (Al Bundy) on June 11th 6PM PT
Ed O’Neill, the one and only Al Bundy, is joining our Bundy Breakdown Zoom Watch Party on Thursday, June 11th at 6PM PT. We’re reviewing Season 5 Episode 13 “The Godfather,” the one where Al turns into the big shot of the neighborhood. This is as close as it gets to drinking a beer on the Bundy couch with the king himself. Don’t miss it.
Bundy Camping Double Feature!
Bundyclub should do a two part camping watch party. A double feature with “The Camping Show” in season 3 episode 4, & then “Buck Saves The Day” in season 4 episode 3. Maybe we can get David Garrison possibly for this episode. Steve stands out great in these two especially…
“POPPYS BY THE TREE” Parts 1 & 2
These two episodes are great especially around Halloween time. It’s one of the first chances we get to see The BUNDYS out on another affordable vacation in DumpWater, Florida. Poppy’s offers quicksand & most importantly they get to take the FAMILY CAR! It’s fun to do a Bundy night on…
What If Amber & Bud became Married With Children next!?!?!?
What if Al & Peg became Bundy grandparents via Amber & Bud!?!?!? 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
The Longevity of Grandmaster B
A question was asked during last nights Zoom meeting, “How long did Grandmaster B last throughtout the series?” I believe David responded that the storyline was short lived. I did my research and discovered that the Grandmaster B storyline was almost exclusive to Season 6. The final Grandmaster B comment…
Meet & Greet
Waaaaay back in 2007 I had a unique opportunity to meet David Faustino in Pittsburgh at a toy convention (if I remember correctly). It was the first time I was able to meet a cast member, and until the recent reunion and afterparty, the only time. David and I are…
Halloween Special for Bundy Club.
My favorite thing growing up as kid in the early 90s late 80s was Freddy Krueger and Al Bundy. I always wished that these two great actors could do a road trip movie together. I was really bummed when I saw Ford Fairlane and Robert and Ed had no scenes…
Married with Children: Why Ed O’Neill’s Thick Chicago Accent Vanished After the Pilot
Richard Gurman noticed something wild rewatching the pilot: Ed O’Neill’s thick Chicago accent completely vanished by episode three or four. David Faustino breaks down how Ed naturally evolved Al Bundy from a raw, angry South Side guy into the universal everyman we all know.
Breaking News!
Chicago, AP Rapper Grandmaster B was revealed to be a complete fraud after a tell-all interview by Rolling Stone Magazine. Reporter Cameron Crowe, after a lengthy investigation, confronted the rapper in a tell-all interview following Dambuster B’s cancellation of his recent tour. “It’s all true, I swear,” said Budrick Franklin…
Speaking of the GOAT
This is pure Gold.. it was my 2nd favorite thing to watch back in the day. Please reboot this series!!! Oh and… #ParkerLewisisthebomb
Dedicated to the one and only Grandmaster B
Honestly, I have no idea how many different names our Grandmaster B got tortured with over the years…but somehow quite a few of them suddenly came back to me today. Put them into a little… whatever 😄 Fandom, dusty archives, ChatGPT, My question was: “Who was Grandmaster B?” But all…
Re: Origins of Grandmaster B
For context, see the community post or this https://youtube.com/shorts/7hbv6lvZE_0?si=g_l8H90kHi5J8yea I think it would be cool if David could spin some Married…With Children sounds from the episode into hip hop track. Everything from Al’s “Hmm hmm him,” Bud’s “lonely life for grandmaster B” rap, the “Love and Marriage” theme song, NO…

Married with Children: My Childhood Crush on Alyssa Milano Across the Hallway
When Married with Children started shooting in 1987, the kid actors had a schoolroom on the lot. Mine was down the hall from Alyssa Milano’s, where she was filming Who’s the Boss. I was 13, already a fan, and the first time she walked by I went full tongue-tied. Vicious and unrequited.
Sam Kinison Screamed Happy Birthday to My Dad and It Made His Year
Folks, this is one of those stories I never get tired of telling, mostly because every time I tell it I can still hear Sam Kinison’s voice ringing through the phone. If you were around for season 4 of Married with Children, you remember the two-part Christmas episode It’s a…
Harold Sylvester guarding Pistol Pete Maravich
Here is our friend, Harold Sylvester (Griff), guarding LSU’s Pistol Pete Maravich on February 10, 1969. Harold’s Tulane University team kicked LSU’s ass, 110-94. But, Pistol dropped 66 points and 10 boards that game. However, when Tulane beat LSU, 101-99, in two overtimes earlier on December 14, 1968, Harold had…
Happy Memorial Day Bundy Club
Loved this episode even though it was Labor Day.”There’s nothing like spending Labor Day with the family, good food, and good friends. Oh god, what a charade.”
The Banned Married with Children Episode and the Spinoff That Almost Happened
A fan who was actually in the Sunset Gower audience asked two of the all-time great Married with Children questions on the latest watch party. What really happened to the Next Gen Bundy spinoff? And what was the one episode Fox banned? I took the first one. Richard Gurman, who wrote the show, took the second. Here’s both stories.
Married with Children: 10 Years on Set and Why the Bundy Cast Is Still Best Friends Today
David Faustino and Amanda Bearse on what 10 years filming Married with Children was really like, why the Bundy cast is still extremely close today, and the Ed O’Neill phone call that David’s wife has learned to hide the phone from.
Married with Children: Harold Sylvester from Tulane Basketball and Pete Maravich to Hollywood
Harold Sylvester (Griff) tells me about being the first African American scholarship athlete at Tulane, going up against Pete Maravich at LSU, and walking off the court into Sounder, An Officer and a Gentleman, and Uncommon Valor before he ever sat down with No Maâam.
