Season 11 Episode 15: Breaking Up is Easy to Do (2)
Al moves into an apartment by the airport and Peggy stays home crying at the home shopping channel. Both of them end up at the same singles bar, where Peggy attracts a wealthy admirer and Al attracts a woman who thinks he is having a heart attack.
Season 11 Episode 13: T*R*A*S*H
Jefferson talks Al and Griff into joining the National Guard on the understanding that nothing is ever required of them. Then a garbage strike breaks out and the three of them are deployed into it. The only episode of the series co-written by David Faustino.
Season 11 Episode 12: Grime and Punishment
Al starts charging Bud rent, which makes Bud a tenant with rights. Bud calls the city, a health inspector declares Al a slumlord and confines him to the basement until he makes repairs. Kelly, meanwhile, has enrolled in an improv class and needs situations to practice.
Season 11 Episode 11: Bud on the Side
Bud takes his father’s dating advice to aim low and ends up with Gary, Al’s boss. Al faints. Once he comes round, the family starts working out how to use his son’s new leverage at the shoe store.
Season 11 Episode 10: The Stepford Peg
Peggy hits her head and loses her memory, so Al reprograms her into a wife who cooks and cleans. The result holds up through an entire NO MA’AM wrestling party. Filmed first in the season, though it aired tenth.
Season 11 Episode 9: Crimes Against Obesity
Al insults a customer on his birthday and is tied to a chair in the shoe store and tried for Crimes Against Obesity. The prosecution’s evidence is archive footage of things he actually said across ten seasons. Peggy takes the stand to help, which does not help.
Season 11 Episode 8: God Help Ye Merry Bundymen
The series’ last Christmas episode. Gary hires two young replacements and Al and Griff end up working the mall. Marcy is chasing the decorating prize, Bud and Kelly have kidnapped her nativity figures, and Peggy has baked a gingerbread model of the entire neighborhood.
Season 11 Episode 7: The Juggs Have Left the Building
The Bundys holiday in Branson, Missouri, where Peggy and Kelly try to launch a mother-daughter country act and Tammy Wynette appears as herself. Back home, Marcy and Jefferson are house-sitting, and Marcy wants to try something cheap and trashy.
Season 11 Episode 6: A Bundy Thanksgiving
The series’ only Thanksgiving episode. Al’s childhood tradition requires one of Aunt Maddie’s sweet potato pies, and the last one is at her funeral. At home, Jefferson cannot find a turkey, and the only one available is Kelly’s pet.
Season 11 Episode 5: Requiem for a Chevyweight (2)
The Dodge gets a funeral in the back yard, complete with bagpipes and a folded seat cover. Al leases a replacement that goes badly wrong. Jefferson goes to Cuba for the fuel pump and turns out to be on first-name terms with Fidel Castro.
