The Episodes That Were Way Harder Than They Looked
April 17, 2026
Some episodes look simple on screen but were beasts behind the scenes.
Physical comedy episodes were intense. Scenes where characters wrestled, fell, slipped, chased each other, or destroyed props had to be choreographed carefully.
Large crowd scenes, school events, mall episodes, group gags, required massive coordination.
Episodes with animals? Total unpredictability. Dogs, cats, birds. They do what they want. And we followed.
Then there were the “big concept” episodes: the England trilogy, the Labor Day shoe store crowd riot, the car show episodes, any episode with explosions or stunts. Those scripts were ambitious and required full precision backstage.
The miracle is that the final episodes look effortless. But trust me, they weren’t.
