Al Bundy's patience gets put to the ultimate test on the job. Making it through one shift at the shoe store without being rude to a customer sounds simple enough for most people. For Al, it might be the hardest challenge of his career, and watching him grit his teeth through every request is pure comedy.

This clip comes from Married with Children Season 8 Episode 23, "The Legend of Ironhead Haynes." A complaint from a woman at the shoe store costs Al his parking space. So Al, Jefferson and the rest of NO MA'AM go looking for a legendary macho guru to teach them how to battle political correctness.

The shoe store is where Al Bundy's soul goes to suffer, and the show mined it for some of its sharpest jokes. This scene is a great example of workplace misery played for laughs.
