Steve gets a memorable welcome home in this clip. After his time away from Marcy, his return is anything but ordinary, and the payoff is one of the sweeter, sillier moments of the early D'Arcy and Rhoades era next door.

This clip comes from Married with Children Season 2 Episode 10, "The Razor's Edge." When Marcy cuts Steve off over his beard, he packs up and moves in with the Bundys. Al loves having a houseguest who cooks and cleans. Peg does not, and the two of them start working on Steve and Marcy until the couple reunites.

The Bundys and their neighbors are one of the great sitcom matchups, and this scene shows why. Every exchange over the property line is a little war, and nobody ever really wins.

This is the show doing what it did best: taking an everyday situation and pushing it until it becomes completely absurd.
