Al heads out to rescue Kelly, who has somehow gotten herself stuck in a fence again. But while playing the hero, Al gets spotted by a talent scout. Only on Married with Children could a fence rescue turn into a shot at fame.

This clip comes from Married with Children Season 4 Episode 15, "Rock and Roll Girl." Al challenges his selfish, ungrateful family to earn a dollar of their own. Peggy tries scamming money from others because she hates work, while Bud appoints himself Kelly's agent and lands her a job as a rock video star.

The Bundys and money have never mixed well, and this scene is proof. Every scheme starts with big dreams and ends with the same empty wallet.

Moments like this are why Married with Children is still quoted today. The writing is sharp, the timing is perfect and the Bundys never try to be anything other than themselves.
